When the Pandemic hit, and tourism came to a halt, so did the Parks Conservancy's major source of revenue, Alcatraz. To encourage local interest in visiting the island this "Escape to Alcatraz"  campaign was dreamed up by the VP of Communications and the Director of Editorial Content and Strategy, and designed by myself. The goal was to re-present Alcatraz as not just a tourist destination and former prison, but to shine a new light on it as a safe way to get away locally during the pandemic, experience your home from a new perspective, visit historic gardens, birdwatch, and learn about a diverse local history.
